With Facebook growing by the day, it only makes sense for online marketers to leverage this powerful social site for the purpose of finding more leads and customers. While anyone can create an app and market it on Facebook, if you want it to succeed, you have to keep some essential points in mind, which we'll be covering in this article.
Apps are meant to be viral devices because the people who create them want everybody to use them. There are components about the app such as friends telling friends about them which is the viral component that makes apps so valuable. But the thing about Facebook is people are generally wasting time there, or they want to be distracted for some reason. If you want people to use your app then it has to be something fun and engaging. The typical Facebook user is fairly young, mid thirties and below; so that is your target audience. While you cannot swipe apps that are already made, there is nothing stopping you from getting ideas from them.
The more unique your app plus the more value it is perceived to be, the greater chance someone will send it to their network for all to have a look. Make your app sleek so it does not interfere in any way with being shared. But the one thing you do not want to do is the old trick with sharing first before you can do anything. Perhaps a lot depends on the market you are working in because some may not have a problem with the forced share and others really will have a huge problem with it. This is not hard to do - creating a high quality app that really satisfies people so much they are happy to tell their network about it.
Leverage Your Own Network: Utilizing your network of friends and family on Facebook and having them adopt your app makes perfect sense.
Don't ignore even the smallest details because every little detail you add to your app helps it stand out from the rest.
